Poco Lounge
About This Spot
Stepping into Poco Lounge feels like finding a quietly spirited corner in the heart of King’s Lynn—a place where ease and a welcoming buzz gently mingle. It’s a spot that invites you to slow down without pretension, offering a vibe that balances relaxed comfort with a sense of thoughtful care. Whether you settle in for breakfast, lunch, or a casual evening drink, the atmosphere hums with soft chatter and warmth, the kind that makes you feel part of a shared local rhythm.
The interior carries a subtle modern charm, with touches that suggest attention to detail and a genuine desire to create a space where all kinds of visitors feel at home—families, friends, or solo wanderers alike. The mood tends to be pleasantly informal but still thoughtful, with staff who seem both approachable and keen to make your time feel easy and undemanding. It’s the kind of place where the quick service model doesn’t detract from a sense of genuine human connection, and technology like QR ordering quietly supports the flow rather than interrupts it.
The menu here is a reflection of the lounge’s inclusive spirit. There’s a satisfying spread of British comfort with plant-based and gluten-free choices thoughtfully woven in, ensuring no one feels sidelined. From familiar breakfast classics with a twist to vibrant veggie-friendly small plates and inventive takes on pub favorites, every dish hints at quality ingredients and an evident care in preparation. Whether it’s the cozy richness of a perfectly brewed pot of English breakfast tea or something a little livelier and vibrant like shakshuka or bang bang cauliflower, there’s an approachable heart to the offerings that suits a wide range of tastes.
What lingers most beyond the food itself is the quiet attention to the customer’s full experience. Small touches—like dog-friendly comforts, accessible ordering choices, and a welcoming environment for different dietary needs—speak to a place that wants to make sure your visit feels tailored, even if it’s not ostentatious. While the place might occasionally hum with the lively energy of a busy breakfast service or the casual clink of glasses at the bar, it remains a steady, inviting presence on King’s Lynn’s High Street—a spot to return to for its familiar kindness as much as its food.

We stopped here for a birthday breakfast as this is my better halfs favourite place to go. The staff are always super helpful and polite, and it's super easy to order using the QR code provided on the table as free WiFi is provided. You can also order at the bar if required. The food is always presented well and cooked perfectly. The coffee is delicious and comes with so many options to Taylor it to your liking. Definitely a great place for food wether it's breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Went for brunch on a Sunday. The shashuka was great. The quesadillas whilst tasty were very small considering the cost. Felt that the menu prices were expensive given it wasn't table service. Though lovely atmosphere, clean loos and dog/water/games stations. Got the impression they were also down a member of staff.

Dropped in for a quick bite for lunch. Excellent atmosphere and staff. We had the lunch soup and penini it was yummy yummy! The place is clean and well kept. The food is excellent and it’s with the time. If you haven’t been here then you need to come. If you have been here, then you need to come back!

Popped in for the first time for breakfast. Ordered at the QR code at rhe table, very easy. Staff are very friendly. The food had quality ingredients and came out within a matter of minutes. The only downside is that it's rather chilly inside. But overall, a very nice breakfast experience

Amazing gluten free options and very dog friendly - dog blankets, bowls and treats at the entrance. Only slight downside was 2 of the burgers were missing tomato despite it being an ingredient on the menu and the chips weren’t quite as hot as expected, but food was very nice.

Every time I come to Poco Lounge it is a 5 star experience. I have a severe nut allergy and they are completely nut free! Their food range is excellent, the brunch is all day, so as someone who likes a lazy sunday.. brunch is perfect in the afternoon! Their prices are excellent for the taste of the food and I have no idea what coffee they use but it’s perfect! Lovely iced lattes!! They have a good range of alternative milks ( i prefer it but i’m sure they’re excellent with milk allergies). The atmosphere is always lively and the staff work so hard. Not just the front of house, but the chefs get the food out very quickly and it’s always delicious. There’s so much more I could say but i’m trying to keep it short! Deffo recommend!!!

A standard lounge, standard menu. It was quite loud in here the day we visited due to the amount of people. The service was quick and friendly and app ordering worked well. Toilets are clean and spacious. We wanted to go to Pizza Exoress but they had a power cut (this was ages ago) and the lounge was a good alternative!

I went for the first time recently (at time of posting this) we waited quite a while for our food, about half an hour but to be fair it was full and people were waiting to be seated. When I got my food it was Hugh so definitely value for money. Staff were great . I gave it 4 stars because 30 minutes does enter the realm of unacceptable. But overall I would go again. The food is great.
